Proud to be a Women

Spotted this on Scrappin Stef's blog and thought it was good to share!

It is good to be a woman:
1. We got off the Titanic first.
2. We can scare male bosses with the mysterious gynecological disorder excuses.
3. Taxis stop for us.
4. We don't look like a frog in a blender when dancing.
5. No fashion faux pas we make, could ever rival the Speedo.
6. We don't have to pass gas to amuse ourselves.
7. If we forget to shave, no one has to know.
8. We can congratulate our teammate without ever touching her rear end.
9. We never have to reach down every so often to make sure our privates are still there.
10. We have the ability to dress ourselves.
11. We can talk to the opposite sex without having to picture them naked
12. If we marry someone 20 years younger,we are aware that we will look like an idiot.
13. We will never regret piercing our ears
14. There are times when chocolate really can solve all your problems.
15. We can make comments about how silly men are in their presence because they aren't listening anyway.

Treat yourself

I am just loving this bella. Makes me think of my best friend in Az. When we were neighbors in California and things were stressful or we just wanted to have a few hours of me time, we would call one another and say time to go for a cup of coffee at IHOP! So this card is going to be in the mail tomorrow to Arizona and even thought we can meet at IHOP, we will still share a cup of coffee and think of each other.

Spring flowers

Well, not sure what happen to the beginning of Spring, we are in the 40's and not looking to get back to some Spring weather until sometime next week hopefully. We had high 80's on Monday and Tuesday and dropped to the 40's Wednesday evening. I took my three youngest grandsons to the park on Tuesday and forgot the sunscreen, (not good) as they all ended up with sunburn on their faces and necks. Boy did I feel so bad, poor little guys.

With Spring break this week, I'm not getting as much stamping done as I would of like too. I've been spending my time playing with the grandsons, since I don't always have the chance with working full time. I had Matthew and Nicholas spend the night on Monday and Taylor on Tuesday and enjoyed my time with them so much. Nicholas decided he was going to be a big boy and learn to use the potty chair. He is such a character and we had to get out some stickers and a piece of card stock taped to the refrig so we could show our process with each time we made it to the chair. He actually did quite well, only one accident and of course that because mama forgot to ask him if it was time while he was busy playing outside.

Tonight I was able to spend some time with my stamps and took a stab at making a diagonal tri- fold card. Decided to make it for an Easter card. I even cut on some of my Basic Gray paper and liked the Springing look of this Phoebe paper.

Is it in the Genes?

It's in the genes

Sorry, lots of post today but one last item before I leave for the day. I will be having company spending the night tonight so won't have time to play on the computer. Our little nickleman and Moose will be spending the night at mamas tonight so I will be playing with the grandson.

Ok - I walked into Hunter's room the other day and found his creative juices where working as he created his very own railroad town with anything and everything he could find. Yes that is cardboard, milk carton and your guess is as good as mine. I will be hiding my chip board from him that's for sure.

Happy hello

A Happy Monday to everyone, another bella creation with flowahbella. Thanks for visiting, all comments welcome.
